Is every piece one of a kind?
Yes. Bottles differ in colour, in the thickness of the glass and in their labels, so no two pieces are the same. Small differences in the finish come from grinding by hand.
What is the wax made of?
Of wax from burnt-down candles that establishments and households bring to us. We sort and clean it, remelt it and add fine new wax, so that scent and burning time are just right.
My candle has burnt down. What now?
Send us the glass and we will refill it: with the Connaisseur Refill. If you wish, we will include a shipping label.
Can you make something from my own bottles?
Yes — with Connaisseur B-Y-O your bottle becomes a candle, with reFrame a picture. Once the bottles reach us, we will be in touch with the timing.
Where do you deliver, and how long does it take?
At present within Austria, in 7 working days. Pieces made to order by arrangement. Costs and details are under Shipping.
Can I return something?
Yes, within 14 days and without giving a reason — except for pieces made from your own bottles and refills, which we make especially for you. Details in the withdrawal policy (in German).
How do I pay?
Through our payment provider Mollie: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, EPS and more. We never see your card details.
Do I need an account?
No, you can order as a guest. With an account you have all your orders and invoices in one place.
I run a business. Can we work together?
With pleasure — with trade prices, pieces made from your bottles and ordering on account. Everything is under For businesses.
Can I send you burnt-down candles?
Yes, we are glad to receive them — we remelt the wax. Just drop us a line beforehand at welcome@rekappel.com.
